I have just found this page. Having followed the last part of Mssterchef I found some of the comments rebounded on their writers.
Nothing is fair in this world. As one who watches little television, enjoys food and cooking, I found the series on the whole very interesting and I learnt quite a few new techniques and ideas.
I didn't like the carrot of such a huge payout for the winner.
It will be interesting to see what the avrious contestants do with their lives now and how many keep to the food industry

Hi, I've just come across this page - Wow good on you for making Salmorejo! Being of Spanish background l'm loving that Spanish food is being recognised. Yes the pronunciation is tricky it has the 'ju' like in Juan and it's from CORDOBA - beautiful moorish city in our beloved Andalucia! With this recipe you should have got through - the others sounded great too! The paella cook off gave me the shits! Yes, most Spaniards like a crust (and traditionally it's cooked on logs out in the open) and the most important thing to do with Paella before you seerve - REST IT!!
ps. was George's roast chicken raw tonite - he quickly turned it over. That eas not a 'sexy' restaurant dish. That was a @#$%!

I'm with you. I find it really frustrating just how bad this editing is. Border lining on insulting. In one frame you see a few contestants, then the very next frame a few are missing, then the next frame- hey presto the originals are back. Do they think we are total idiots and don't notice this stuff?

Is it my imagination or have they reshot the cooking segments with those that got thru the second round? I was present for 15 hours on the second day in Sydney and no one cooked in front of the judges, yet this appeared to be the case on TV.

Also, their meals were "vamped up" to look as though they were professionally cooked and not how they looked on the day.

I really dislike this show. It looks harsh and sounds horrible. It is about food - which is one of the joys in life.'Oh I really, really want this - this will change my life etc etc..'Cry cry.. Start peeling as Kittycat suggests! That'll knock the dream out fast.
I love the two guys in Britain because they enjoy themselves and are quite casual sitting around and slurping away.

Keep up the good work

What we will see is the producers ability or lack there of to make it appear as though they can cook... My sauces (sic.) tell me its about 10 minutes cooking and 14 hours food styling and setting up shots! That's TV for you!! Enough with the back story shite, all the GREAT cooking shows are 95% food and a 5% human interest and not the reverse. We will see?? Even the crappy US shows dont seem to play the MAN and not the BALL with such vigour as it seems channel 10 will be!

angry chef, which state are you from? who did you meet??? well, i'm sure we will all be able to judge whether it is a real cooking show or not based on the top 20... just another tv-drama series perhaps...

as a chef i think this show is bullshit, i have worked my arse off to get somewhere in this shit for money industry. How can a show be called master chef, does being part of this show mean you automatically get the qualifications of being a REAL chef. Which I work 14 hours a day min on 6 hours sleep, on low wages for years to achieve. Your taking the piss out of my show. better still when i got the chance to meet one of the finalists before they went to sydney. The judges have picked them not for their cooking skills but for other reasons. Your taking the piss out of the chefing industry which is currently in a skill shortage. Thank you once again channel 10 for this misrepresentation of real life.
