Hiya K(ay) :)

Well there goes my fantasty of it being the perfect quaint little restaurant that I never got a chance to go to. But then I would never take 12 people anywhere in Perth without extreme reservation...especially not a small restaurant. The number of times I've waiting long periods of time and gotten disgusting food in the end is getting too long to count.

Salient point on the name though... I just figured it was something Italian sounding that was vaguely to do with food...

We booked a table for 12 people at Il Pasto a couple of months ago... when the first lot of people rocked up they were told that there was no dough ready, but they had stopped taking orders and were making more. It was another half hour before the full party was assembled and ready to order - at which point we were told it would be at least another 40 minutes before they could even *start* making pizza. We all piled into our cars and went to Italy Home Made :D

So I guess I'll never find out how good their pizza was. And I am the only one who thinks it's odd to call a restaurant serving pizza *exclusively* "Il Pasto"?
